We've been busy little beavers as of late.
I have been wanting to blog, but can't seem to get my thoughts to come together.
I guess that isn't unusual though as I ramble on and on all the time.
Workout-wise, I've been pretty consistent, and I'm happy to report that my lifting stats are growing!
Now, they are nothing compared to most of you that I stalk, but none the less, I'm super happy about it because it's the most that I have ever lifted in my life.
I'm really excited because this means I can only get better from here.
Being as I haven't competed since April, I am also pretty pleased with how I have been doing with my physique.  I'm trying to grow muscle, but am keeping the "bulk" from going too haywire.
I have been trying to mix things up lately too.
One day this week, when meeting with my gym buddy T, we decided to fore go the usual weights then cardio and try a workout in the October Fitness RX for Women.
We thought it would be an "easy" day for us.
Pleasantly, we were surprised, and it kicked our tushies!
That's the one we did and even added a little ab work in.
This was me looking all hot afterwards.
I hope you realize that this was said with complete sarcasm.
I'll let you in on a secret too.
My pants ripped up the side seam when I got to the gym.
Luckily, I was sporting my longer, looser yoga top - feeling the PMS bloat.
They can easily be fixed, but what did I expect from pants that are over 10 years old?!

We were lucky and had a 4 day weekend!
We spent a lot of time down in the country working on the Peanut.
We did have a day of doing errands.
But on to the fun stuff ~ I got goodies!
I am trying to make a concerted effort to wear shorts.
My legs and booty are my trouble area.
However, I've worked hard on them, and they look pretty darn okay.
S got me this outfit this weekend.
Lime green short shorts (with built in under-roos) and a top with matching trim.
Now, I just have to get my pasty self to wear them!

Also, my first Muscle & Fitness Supplement box came in!
I'll let you know what I think of the products as I use them!

The days have been really warm, but really nice.
One of the beasties and I have taken to go for some daily walks.
Usually, we play fetch and other games in the back yard.
Today, I decided to wear a pedometer.
We were out for 42 minutes and walked 2.03 miles.
Yep, a little slow, but you don't understand!
He must stop and pee on everything and anything!
"Wait, did I get this one yet?"
"I'm pooped mom."
I have been also scheming for my indoor winter gardening.
It won't make my house pretty or stylish by any means, but I'll have stuff right at my fingertips all winter!
Just to point out, this is a 6" diameter pot.
I have it on my kitchen table.
Here are the carrots that I pulled up from it today.
You can grow anything in a pot, it just comes out a little smaller.
Honestly, though, these were not too terribly smaller than the carrots that I grew outside in the ground.
I plan on putting pots all over where ever I have sun in the house!
This is in my kitchen, and all of the pots are not even visible.
I had to bring in a tiny table from our deck to raise them high enough so that the pups don't eat everything when it begins to grow.
They love chard, spinach, herbs and lettuces!
Oh in the green pot to the right:
I tried what I had been seeing on Pinterest.
I shoved the bottom of my celery stalk into a pot last week and just water occasionally.
Sure enough, that sucker is growing!

11062012 ~ I flexed my rights

Yep, I voted.
If you really want to have fun with people, tell them that you voted for Roseanne.
I couldn't believe how many people took me seriously and got angry!
Want to talk about make myself laugh?
Hey, I did no research on her, but for some reason I could not take that one seriously?!
I can only envision her as "Roseanne."

Anyway, I also flexed my muscles and had a nice leg workout this morning topped off with a little step-monster.
I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised at how my arms are looking lately.
I can finally see them pretty much all of the time, and I like it!

I can't wait to see what happens over time.

Oh, funny not so funny thing happened this morning.
I was on the step-monster, and I kept smelling this weird smell.
I kept sniffing under my arms and cupping to smell my breath.
I just couldn't figure out what or where it was coming from.
Later, I figured it out.
It turns out that I had stepped in dog poop.
It was such a teeny piece and sooooooo smelly!
I was the stinky gal today.
Thankfully, no one was really in there this morning!
